England are having a hard time in the ongoing game against South Africa in Match 11 of the Champions Trophy 2025 at the National Stadium, Karachi. The side lost half their side after hardly adding 100 runs on the scoreboard, as Proteas bowlers seemed to be having the batters all over the place.
Experienced batter Joe Root‘s dismissal summed up how the Three Lions have fared in the game against the Proteas so far. A straight delivery by pacer Wiaan Mulder saw Root fail to pick the line of the ball and a wrong shot selection had his stumps rattled, as the batter departed after scoring 37 off 44 balls, putting England in deeper trouble.
