Melbourne Renegades and Brisbane Heat met in the 10th match of BBL 2022/23 yesterday (Wednesday). Batting first in that match, Brisbane heat set a target in the allotted 20 overs. Also, after winning this match, Melbourne Renegades are in the 2nd place in the points table and Brisbane Heat is in the 7th place after losing the match. Besides, Andre Russell won the man-of-the-match title for Melbourne Renegades due to his excellent batting and timely bowling.

Brisbane Heat won the toss, elected to bat first, and invited Melbourne Renegades to bowl. Batting first, Brisbane Heat couldn’t withstand the bowling attack of Melbourne Renegades. They lost the 1st wicket in the last ball of the 2nd over. Their opener Colin Munro returned to the dressing room after scoring 8 runs off 6 balls. In the end, they left the field with a win with the loss of 6 wickets and 7 runs extra.

Michael Neser took 4 wickets for 32 runs in 4 overs for Brisbane Heats. In addition, Mark Steketee took 2 wickets.
