Bangladesh are not in the same playing condition as England: Domingo

বাংলাদেশ ইংল্যান্ডের মতো খেলার অবস্থায় নেই : ডোমিঙ্গো

The English are changing Test cricket. Their consistency and aggressive batting and bowling in 22 yards of the field are now the talks of the cricket world. Team coach Brendon McCullum and captain Ben Stokes are playing a role in changing the atmosphere of English cricket. However, Tiger coach Russell Domingo thinks Bangladesh is not in a playing condition like England at this moment.

England’s recently concluded Test cricket against Pakistan is the talk of the town because of the way they play Tests. Domingo spoke at the press conference before coming down to play the Test against India. There he was asked about aggressive cricket. According to him, Bangladesh is not in the condition of playing aggressively like England.

“England has changed the way Tests are played. I don’t think we will bat like England. It is not possible at the moment. The way England is playing aggressive cricket on the field is incredible and exciting. They are taking the game forward. Credit must be given to them,” Domingo said. “They are one of the factors that changed the way Tests were played.”

According to Domingo, one must first find a way to avoid defeat and then find a way to win. He said, “I don’t think England are playing the quality of cricket Bangladesh is in as a team. First, we have to find a way to avoid defeat. Then we have to find a way to win. At the moment we lose matches very easily in this edition. We have to understand the reality.” “.

The Bangladesh coach also talked about India’s style of play before the Test match against India. In the press conference, Domingo was asked, what will happen if opponent India plays aggressive cricket against Bangladesh? In response, Domingo said, “I am not sure how India will play. They are also a very traditional team when it comes to playing Tests.”

However, Domingo feels that the Test match could be taken out of India’s reach very soon. He also said, “India has some great cricketers who can take the match out of reach very quickly. We have to make sure that the cricketers are disciplined, and play with patience. The guys are calm under pressure. The way England is playing, I think That’s not how India will play. I don’t think that’s the way they play Tests.”

Meanwhile, captain Lokesh Rahul, who led India due to Rohit’s injury, has spoken about playing aggressive cricket before entering the Test field. Bangladesh is already familiar with their aggressive batting in their last ODI match. From December 14, India-Bangladesh will face each other in the first Test at the Zahoor Ahmed Stadium in Chittagong. After that, the two teams will return to Dhaka to play the second test.
