Watch: Cheteshwar Pujara, Ravindra Jadeja gear up for Ranji Trophy match against Delhi

The Indian team is set to play the T20I series against England. Though some stars will be missing from the series they will be in action in domestic cricket due to the new rules enforced by the BCCI compelling Indian players who are not on international duty to make themselves available for the domestic circuit.

The likes of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli have also made themselves available for the ongoing Ranji Trophy. The other senior player who will also be seen in the Ranji Trophy is Ravindra Jadeja who has made himself available for the Saurashtra team for the game against Delhi on January 23. The 2024 T20 World Champion has also uploaded a story on Instagram with his Saurashtra kit with a quote saying he is ready for the game.

“#RanjiTrophy All Set!,” said the caption of Jadeja’s post.

Jadeja will not be the only international star who will feature in tomorrow’s match since Cheteshwar Pujara is also part of the squad and is seen putting in the work in the nets. The Border-Gavaskar 2020-21 hero posted a clip of himself batting and is looking in great form with classical and elegant stroke play which he is known for.

Jadeja played 12 Tests in 2024 in which he scored 527 runs at an average of 29.27 scoring a century and three fifties with a highest score of 112. He also took 48 wickets at an average of 24.29 with three five-wicket hauls and best figures of 5/41.

Pujara, on the other hand, has had a decent season in the Ranji Trophy where he has scored 269 runs from four matches he has played at an average of 44.83.
