Table toppers Desert Vipers (DV) and the fifth-placed Sharjah Warriorz (SW), both lost their most recent matches in the ongoing ILT20 2025 (International League T20) and will look to get back to winning ways when they face each other in Match 15.
Vipers had their unbeaten streak in the tournament snapped by losing to Dubai Capitals. None of DV’s batters could get going in the face of a coordinated bowling effort by Capitals with Dushmantha Chameera at the forefront. Capitals themselves were 42/3 in the chase of 140 leaving the chase wide open until Gulbadin Naib took the Capitals home with an unbeaten 78.
Warriorz started well with the bat against MI Emirates but fell short towards the end to leave a decent target of 177. Emirates lost Muhammad Waseem early on, but Tom Banton blasted a century that dashed any hopes the Warriorz of winning the game.
