Bangladesh team improved: Sreedharan Sreeram

Team Bangladesh headed to UAE to play two-match Twenty20 series ahead of World Cup. Bangladesh won the series by defeating the weaker opponents UAE. However, Bangladesh had to sweat quite a bit to win against Emirates, which is lagging behind in the world of cricket. However, Sridharan Sriram, Technical Consultant of Team Bangladesh claimed that the Bangladesh team is improving.

Sohan and Co had to gain a lot of momentum to win the first match of the series. Bangladesh somehow won by 7 runs. In the second match, the bowling performance was good but the batting was weak.

Sridharan Sriram spoke about the team’s performance at the end of the series. He said, “I asked them to improve, and they have done it. Credit must be given to the boys for carrying out the plan. We want to rotate our pace bowlers. We will continue with this theme ahead.”

Before the World Cup, Bangladesh will play a tri-nation series on New Zealand soil. In this regard, Sriram said, “There is a tri-series in New Zealand, which can be a different challenge for the boys.”
