Australia announce squad for West Indies series, Warner-Starc return

T20 World Cup is knocking on the door. Australia will be the host in this tournament which is going to start in October. Aaron Finch will go down to 22 yards of the field to retain the title at home. That’s why Team Australia is preparing well. Although recently they lost the series in India.

However, Australia is getting two more series before competing on the World Cup stage. Those two series are again at home, against the West Indies and England. The Australian Cricket Board has already announced the team for the series against the Caribbean. Four cricketers who did not play in the tour of India have returned to the team.

Experienced opener David Warner, two pace bowling all-rounders Mitchell Marsh, Marcus Stoinis and veteran pacer Mitchell Starc have a place in Australia’s declared team. Meanwhile, Cameron Greene, who got a chance in the series in Warner’s absence, also got chance against the West Indies. Originally, this young cricketer who was not in the World Cup team got the award for good performance in the India series.

Note that the two-match T20 series between West Indies and Australia will start on 5th of the next month (October). The second match of the series will be held on October 7. After that, the English will visit Australia. The matches between the two teams will be held on 9th, 12th and 14th of the same month (October).
