Bangladesh announces the women's Asia Cup squad

A few days ago, the Asia Cup was held in the United Arab Emirates. Where Sri Lanka won the title by defeating Pakistan. Another Asia Cup is knocking on the door before the month has passed. But this time, not the men, but the women cricketers will enter the fight of Asian excellence to be held in Bangladesh.

The Women’s Asia Cup will be held in Sylhet from October 1. And Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) announced their team for that tournament. Where Nigar Sultana Jyoti will lead the hosts. Thailand will compete with Bangladesh in the opening match.

Note that Bangladesh is the current champion of this continental tournament. In 2018, the Tigresses won the Asia Cup for the first time by defeating India in the final of the event held in Malaysia. With that confidence, the confidence of becoming the champion in the T20 World Cup qualifiers recently has been added.
