Ravindra Jadeja’s T20 World Cup is over due to injury!

Team India’s main pace bowler Jasprit Bumrah’s Asia Cup came to an end due to injury before coming to play the Asia Cup. Currently, his rehabilitation process has started in India. This is a big blow for India. India’s star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja was also ruled out of the upcoming T20 World Cup after the Asia Cup due to injury.

It was known on Friday that the Indian all-rounder has been ruled out of the ongoing Asia Cup due to a knee injury. More bad news has come. He will not be able to play in the T20 World Cup to be held in Australia next October.

Jadeja injured his knee while playing against Hong Kong in the Asia Cup group stage match. Although it didn’t seem serious on the field, he was later diagnosed with a tear in the scan report. After that, the Indian team management said that this important cricketer will not be able to enter the field in the remaining matches of the Asia Cup.

Axar Patel, who played well in the IPL, was called up for the Asia Cup in place of Ravindra Jadeja. Although he was not available in the second match against Pakistan. Spinner Ravi got a place in the team instead.

The latest news is that Jadeja will undergo knee surgery. In that case, he will have to rest for at least a month to fully recover. Then rehabilitation will begin. As a result, Jadeja will not play in the World Cup.

Meanwhile, not having a star all-rounder like Jadeja in the team is a big blow for Team India.

Captain Rohit Sharma’s anxiety is also expected to increase. It should be noted that Jadeja played a key role in the victory against Pakistan in this year’s Asia Cup. He could have been one of Team India’s trump cards on Australian soil. But sadly, an injury ended his World Cup dream.
