#1. 5/27 vs Ireland, 2017

This is the first 5-wicket haul in Adil Rashid’s ODI career. He took these five wickets against Ireland in the first match of the 2-match ODI series between the two teams at Bristol. The visitors batted first but they could not get an advantage as Adil Rashid bowled a phenomenal spell. He bowled in the middle phase of the first innings and cleaned up almost the whole Irish middle and lower order. As a result of this collapse Ireland got restricted to 126 runs in the first innings which was eventually chased by England. 

#2. 5/85 vs West Indies, 2019

It was a high-scoring encounter in which Adil Rashid was the eventual difference between the two sides. Batting first, in the fourth match of the ODI series between England and West Indies, the English team scored 418 runs and posed a challenging target for the home side to chase. Chris Gayle led West Indies in the chase and brought his team very close to the target. However, it was the dismissals from Adil Rashid that held back West Indies from completing the run chase. In the end, West Indies lost the match by a narrow margin of 29 runs. 

#3. 4/36 vs Sri Lanka, 2018

Here is another match-winning bowling effort from Adil Rashid. In 2018, the English team toured Sri Lanka, and in the third match of the ODI series, Rashid produced something special to force the home team to surrender. He picked up four wickets which included key dismissals of Sadeera Samarawickrama, Kusal Mendis Thisara Perera, and Dasun Shanaka. These wickets broke the spine of the Sri Lankan batting unit which eventually collapsed.
