Complaints of stomach pain forced Agarwal to deboard the flight, leading to an official complaint from his team, alleging foul play. The incident prompted a swift response from the local authorities, with Agarwal being rushed to a nearby hospital.

Providing a personal update on Instagram, Mayank assured everyone that he was on the road to recovery. “I am feeling better now. Gearing to comeback. Thank you for prayers, love and support, everyone,” he shared.

Health authorities in Tripura have confirmed that Agarwal is out of danger, with stable vitals. The cricketer is currently under observation at ILS Hospital, where he was admitted due to oral irritation and swelling on his lips.
