Brisbane Heat have become the Big Bash League 2023-24 champions and with this title now they have two championships to their name. The 30-year-old right-handed Josh Brown was the leading run-scorer for Brisbane Heat in the 2023-24 season and played a pivotal role in the title-winning campaign. In 9 innings Brown scored 366 runs at an average of 40.66. 

He also had an impressive strike rate of 150.61 which gave the franchise a big boost. Brown was a consistent run-scorer for Brisbane and his consistency made him a reliable option for the franchise. He was surely one of the major contributors to Brisbane’s glory. 

2. Xavier Bartlett

The young right-arm fast bowler from Queensland was the highest wicket-taker in the Big Bash League this season and his heroic campaign with the ball led Brisbane to their second trophy. Bartlett picked up 20 wickets in 11 innings at a startling average of 14.70. 

Throughout the season he was the go-to bowler for his captain and delivered numerous performances that changed the course of the match on various occasions. Bartlett has emerged as a bright prospect for the franchise and in the upcoming season he will be the one to watch out for. 

3. Spencer Johnson

The left-handed speedster Spencer Johnson was not much behind Xavier Bartlett in terms of wicket-taking output. He picked up 19 wickets in 11 innings at an average of 14.47. The stats are very similar to his fast-bowling partner and the duo bowled in tandem to make Brisbane the threatening side that they are. 

The bowler from Adelaide consistently produced troubling spells which always kept his team in the game. Along with Bartlett, he is also a star of this season for Brisbane Heat.
