New Zealand and Bangladesh will be locking horns at the MA Chidambaram stadium in Chennai and this contest is crucial for both sides. Chennai has traditionally been a tough hunting ground for batsmen but in order to pull off a victory, teams will be relying on their batsmen to step up at the right time.

The top 3 run-scorers from the New Zealand vs Bangladesh clash in ODI World Cup 2023:

1. Rachin Ravindra

One name that has been dominating the discussions so far in this World Cup is the elegant left-hander from New Zealand, Rachin Ravindra. In the first match against England, he scored a massive ton to take New Zealand across the line comfortably. His knock of 123 runs set the tone in the World Cup and the swashbuckling southpaw followed it up with another fifty-plus innings in Hyderabad against the Netherlands. All eyes will be on him once again when he steps onto the Chepauk outfield. We might see another delightful innings from Rachin Ravindra and many would be hoping for the same.

2. Devon Conway

The South African-born Kiwi opener Devon Conway has impressed everyone in the first two matches that he has played in this World Cup. Against England Devon Conway absolutely devoured the opposition bowling lineup. His 152 not out is one most dominant and clinical performances in the history of the World Cup. Not for a moment it seemed that he was getting troubled.

In Hyderabad as well he got a great start but could not convert that into a big knock. A quick turnaround in Chennai would be a great opportunity for him to again score some big runs and stamp his authority in the game.

3. Litton Das

Right-handed Bangladesh opener Litton Das played a beautiful innings against a lethal English bowling lineup and that too in a humongous chase. His performance in pressure situations makes him one of the prime contenders to be one of the highest run-getters in the clash against New Zealand.

The opener would have a tough challenge against the Kiwi bowlers but he will back himself and Bangladeshi fans would also be hoping for the same.
