After suffering defeat at the hands of Punjab Kings, Rajasthan Royals will be fired up when they take on Delhi Capitals in their next match at Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati on April 8. Notably, star batter Jos Buttler is likely to miss the match after injuring his finger in the previous game. Either Sanju Samson or Devdutt Padikkal will open with youngster Yashasvi Jaiswal.
Bowling looks more or less sorted for the Sanju Samson-led side but there is room for improvement. Meanwhile, Delhi are not in great form at the moment and might find it difficult to tackle Yuzvendra Chahal, who is joint-second in the IPL Purple Cap race at the moment. With two back-to-defeats in the tournament, the David Warner-led side is currently struggling with both bat and ball and things are not looking good for them.
Youngster Prithvi Shaw once again failed to make a mark in the previous game against the Gujarat Titans, while Mitchell Marsh has looked pale so far in IPL 2023. Axar Patel batted well towards the fag end of the match but overall, the side had a disappointing game. With the ball, Anrich Nortje started well but once the Titans got momentum, Delhi looked clueless.

RR vs DC Pitch Report
Another high-scoring game is expected at Baraspara Stadium on Saturday. There will be some dryness and little grass and thus, the batters can capitalise on that. Bowling first will be crucial and anything close to 200 will be a good score on this wicket.

RR vs DC Probable Best Performers
Probable best batter
Skipper Sanju Samson is in sublime form at the moment. With 97 runs in two matches, he is currently fifth in the IPL Orange Cap list and if he manages to continue with the same momentum, it can be a long night for the Delhi bowlers. On top of that, with Jos Buttler unlikely to be available, Samson will have to take more responsibility in the middle.
Probable best bowler
Spin wizard Yuzvendra Chahal has already picked up five wickets in two matches so far in the competition. The tournament is extremely important for the leg-spinner to get back into the Indian playing XI, and it is expected that he will live up to his potential.
