West Indies Women (WI-W) will take on Bangladesh Women (BAN-W) in the second T20I, at Warner Park in St Kitts, on Thursday, January 30. After winning the ODI series by 2-1, West Indies commenced the T20I series on a positive note. They beat Bangladesh by eight wickets in the first T20I and a win from here will see them conquer the T20I series comprehensively. 

On the other hand, Bangladesh’s bowling was under par in the first T20I as to of their bowlers conceded runs at an excess of 11 runs per over. Their batters could not adapt to the conditions and apart from Nigar Sultana, no other batters batted with a strike rate of more than 110. They have no choice but to win the second T20I and keep the series alive.

Warner Park‘s pitch will aid the bowlers more than batters. It could be the bowlers’ game as the pacers will generate swing and ample spin from the deck to aid the spinners. Batters might find it hard to score runs in the latter stages with the ball not coming onto the bat nicely.
