The India vs England second ODI saw the comeback of Rohit Sharma as he scored his second ODI century giving the team a perfect platform for the team to chase down a big target of 304 set by the England team at the Barabati Stadium and played a huge role in claiming their 12th overall ODI series win against The Three Lions.

This was sort of a perfect comeback for Rohit, who was facing a lot of criticism due to a lean patch he was facing in the last few games before the match. While Rohit went on to play an incredible knock in the match, his teammate and legendary batter Virat Kohli failed to make an impact, getting dismissed for just five runs. However, this did not stop him from appreciating the India skipper for his incredible knock that set up a great chase for the team against a strong English bowling line up.

When Rohit finally got dismissed by Liam Livingstone after his incredible knock and made his way into the dressing room the former India skipper was seen giving him a pat on the back after the knock. This was a great gesture from Kohli who understood how much this knock helped the team to get closer to the target and helped claim the series in the end.
