A contingent of the police force was deployed at the Barabati Stadium in Cuttack after disorder erupted amongst supporters during the sale of tickets for the second ODI of the three-match series between India and England.
A video of the same has been doing the rounds where the audience who had gathered outside the venue was seen cramped up alongside a team of police personnel who had arrived at the scene to monitor the chaotic situation. A hose was also employed in order to soothe the situation for the public in the vicinity. Notably, the match is scheduled to take place on Sunday, February 9.
