Wasim Akram seen fuming after being harassed by spectator in Perth

Former Pakistan cricketer Wasim Akram recently captured headlines after he was harassed by a cricket fan for about an hour at the Optus Stadium in Perth during the ongoing first Test between Australia and India on Saturday, November 23. The incident happened when Akram was doing his broadcasting duties.

It is worth noting that Akram had been abused by a fan after he had signed an autograph for him earlier in the same day. The second argument, however, began towards the end of the day. As Akram was out to get a cab, the fan had been waiting for him outside the venue.

The fan started to annoy Akram once more, which left the Pakistan legend fuming. However, the fan was immediately removed from the venue by the security personnel. According to reports, it has been stated that none of the abuse hurled towards Akram was racist. Furthermore, the former pacer was assured that the security would be tightened in the forthcoming days of the game. Cricket Australia also offered a choice to be received by cars inside the venue.
