‘Tough pill to swallow but we have our heads held high’ – Mohammed Shami after World Cup defeat

India finished as the runner-up in the ODI World Cup 2023 after facing a six-wicket loss against Australia in the finals at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Sunday, November 19.

Mohammed Shami, who finished as the highest wicket-taker in the marquee event with 24 scalps from seven games, reacted after India’s heartbreaking loss.
