Pakistan skipper Babar Azam is just as good at dishing quirky replies as he is at dispatching the bowlers for boundaries. The Peshawar Zalmi skipper is doing the rounds with his hilarious reply to a query pertaining to his marriage in a press conference ahead of the clash against Lahore Qalandars.

The Pakistani ace batter was at his quirky best during a press conference ahead of the ongoing PSL clash between the Peshawar Zalmi and Lahore Qalandars. The captain gave a hilarious response when a reporter asked about his plans regarding marriage since several of his national teammates tied the knot recently.

“Aap kaptaan hai. Aapke saare ladko ki shaadiya ho rahi hai aur aapka baal safed hota jaa raha hai. Toh aapka kab iraada hai shaadi ka? (You are the captain. All of your players are getting married, and your hair is turning grey. So when are you planning to get married?), the journalist asked.

Babar wasted no time in responding with a rib-ticking reply, saying, “Safed age ki wajah se nahi, shuru se hai safed. Yeh nahi ki shaadi ke liye ho rahi hai. Dekhiye, jab time aayega tab ho jaayega. Time ka wait main bhi kar raha hu, aap bhi karein (My hair was always white, and it is not because of the fact that I am thinking about marriage. See, when the time is right, marriage will happen. I am waiting for the time to come, and you should wait too).”

Babar Azam reveals if he is getting married or not and also explains the reason Iftikhar Ahmed is called ‘chachu’ in the team 😂 #HBLPSL8
