The Indian Street Premier League (ISPL) was launched last season, which gave some recognition to the street cricketers all over the country. The league will be seeing some big changes, with Bollywood superstar Salman Khan having emerged as one of the owners of the New Delhi franchise.

The ISPL core committee member Ashish Shelar was impressed with how the tournament has gained a lot of popularity, mentioning the astounding numbers across broadcast and digital platforms, and has expressed his joy at getting Salman Khan in the mix for the next season. He also seemed pleased with the amount of support the tournament has been getting in the last two seasons and hopes that the upcoming season gets a bigger and better reception from the fans.

“We’ve witnessed two phenomenal seasons, with record-breaking numbers across broadcast and digital platforms. It is truly encouraging to see growing support for our vision. The addition of superstar Salman Khan to the mix is the icing on the cake, as we gear up for an even bigger and better Season 3,” Shelar said as quoted by NDTV.
