India set to take on Bangladesh in upcoming series

Speaking of team India’s upcoming assignments, the side will take on Bangladesh in a multi-format series. Both sides will lock horns across two Tests and then India and Bangladesh will take on each other for three T20Is to finish off the series.

It is worth noting that Bangladesh are coming on the back of a two-match Test series win against Pakistan, and will hope to pull off another upset against the Indian team. Bangladesh’s series win against Pakistan helped them move up in the World Test Championship standings.

On the other hand, India currently lead the WTC points table and are set to reach their third straight WTC final. The two Tests against Bangladesh could prove to be a good opportunity for the Rohit Sharma-led side to strengthen their position.
