Mohammad Rizwan offers prayer on streets of USA, video goes viral

Star Pakistan keeper-batter Mohammad Rizwan is currently in the United States, as he joined Harvard Business School’s executive education program along with his teammate Babar Azam. While the program concluded on Saturday, June 3, Rizwan is still spending some time in Boston, where he was recently spotted offering Namaz, a religious Islam prayer, on the streets. The video of the same caught instant fire on social media, while fans reacted to his gesture as “beautiful”.

Meanwhile, Rizwan recently took to his social media and dedicated his prayers to the people who lost their lives in the horrific train accident that happened recently in Balasore, Odisha.

“Loss of human lives is always painful as we are all one ummah. My heart and prayers go to the people affected by the train accident in India,” Rizwan tweeted.

The star Pakistan international attended the Harvard Business School’s program alongside some prominent sports personalities like Kaka, Gerard Pique, Chris Paul, and Paul Gasol, to name a few.

He seemed to be enjoying his time in the U.S., but strictly abiding by Islamic laws, he stopped his car midway on the streets to offer Namaz, and fans instantly reacted to the video by cherishing the act of their favourite cricketer.
Speaking of Pakistan Cricket, the nation’s hosting rights for the upcoming Asia Cup seem to be in jeopardy as the involved boards have supported the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to reject the hybrid model proposed by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chief Najam Sethi.

In their recently concluded ODI series against New Zealand, Pakistan defeated the Tom Latham-led side by a comprehensive margin of 4-1, however, they will be concentrating on giving impressive performances in the Asia Cup as well as the ODI World Cup, post which they will travel to Australia for a three-match Test series in December 2023.
