The Three Lions struggled to adapt in the first ODI, getting bowled out for 248, despite fifties from Jos Buttler and Jacob Bethell. In reply, the hosts chased it down comfortably, thanks to Shubman Gill’s 87 and crucial contributions from Shreyas Iyer (59) and Axar Patel (52), respectively.

3. Adil Rashid

His knock, which included four boundaries, helped stabilize England’s innings at a critical Time.
