Indian cricketer Sanju Samson, who would soon be captaining last year’s runners’ up Rajasthan Royals in the upcoming IPL, took to Twitter to share with fans one of his biggest moments. The Kerala-cricketer shared a photo with superstar Rajinikanth and opened up on his long-standing wish to meet the actor once.

Sanju revealed that he had been a fan of the Thalaivar since the age of 7 and had always wanted to meet him. As a child, he said that he used to tell his parents that one day he would go and meet the superstar in his residence. Finally, as it happened on March 12, 2023, Sanju reminisced the old memories and said that the day finally came after 21 years.

Samson had earlier revealed his Rajinikanth fandom in an interview with ‘The Indian Express’ where, when asked about how he was spending his lockdown days, Samson had replied that apart from meditating and reading Steve Waugh’s book, he had been watching a lot of Rajinikanth movies and Malayalam movies which were his favourites.
