Asitha Fernando was the star bowler for Sri Lanka as he claimed a fifer in the first innings and three wickets in the 2nd. He bowled brilliantly throughout the entire match and tried his level best to destroy the English batting order. However, even his best bowling couldn’t win them the match as there was no support shown from the batters’ end. But Fernando should be satisfied with his improvement in the series.
