The authorities will announce the new schedule of the tournament in the next couple of days after assessing the entire situation and consulting the related government authorities.

Sunrisers Hyderabad and Punjab Kings were taking on each other in the 27th game of the tournament at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Hyderabad. The visiting skipper, Shreyas Iyer, won the toss and decided to bat first. Batting first, Punjab posted a big total of 245 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in the allotted 20 overs.

While chasing the target, the young SRH opener Abhishek Sharma smashed a swashbuckling knock of 141 runs off just 55 balls, with 14 fours and 10 sixes. He also stitched an outstanding opening partnership of 171 runs for the first wicket with Travis Head in just 12.2 overs. This knock eventually helped SRH chase down the target in just 18.3 overs, scoring 247 runs for the loss of just 2 wickets and winning the game by a big margin of 8 wickets. Abhishek also won the ‘Player of the Match’ award for his sensational knock.

Ishan Kishan – 106 vs Rajasthan Royals (Match 2)

It was only the second game of the 18th edition; SRH and RR took on each other at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Hyderabad. The visiting skipper, Riyan Parag, won the toss and asked the hosts to bat first. Batting first, SRH posted a massive total of 286 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in the allotted 20 overs.

The star wicketkeeper-batter for SRH, Ishan Kishan, smashed 106 runs off just 47 balls, with 11 fours and six sixes. He also went unbeaten, stitching some important partnerships to help SRH post this mammoth total of 286 runs for the loss of 6 wickets. Eventually, SRH defended the target and won the game by 44 runs.

Priyansh Arya – 103 vs Chennai Super Kings (Match 22)

It was in the 22nd match of the tournament, between Punjab Kings and CSK, when the cricketing world witnessed the talent of young PBKS batter Priyansh Arya. The 23-year-old brutally bashed the CSK bowlers in all corners of the ground.

He smashed 103 runs off just 42 balls, with seven fours and nine sixes, helping PBKS to post a big total of 219 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. He also won the ‘Player of the Match’ award after PBKS won the game by 18 runs.
