Predicting India’s top 3 players for their 5th T20I against England

Defending T20 World Cup winners India have wrapped up their 17th T20I series win in a row after their 15-run triumph on Friday. The win over England didn’t come without controversy as Harshit Rana made his T20I debut for India coming in as a concussion sub for Shivam Dube.

The final game on Sunday in Mumbai is nothing but a decent chance for both teams to do well. For India the onus will be on the top order who have failed to perform so far. Suryakumar Yadav will head back to his home town in a bid to find his lost form with the bat ahead of the IPL 2025 season.

Here are the likely three best performers for India for their 5th match against England

3- Hardik Pandya

Hardik Pandya

Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya won back the confidence of fans and critics alike with his amazing knock of 53 runs. Pandya had to face the brunt of fans’ anger after his slow-paced innings during the third game in Rajkot on Tuesday. It was Pandya off old in Pune as he tore open England’s bowling attack and scored a half-century. Pandya will head back to home comforts as he looks to get back the Mumbai Indians faithful on his side with yet another match-winning performance

2- Ravi Bishnoi

Young spinner Ravi Bishnoi was the best bowler for India during the fourth game of the series in Pune. The 24-year-old bowled four overs and picked 3/28 to break the back of England’s batting on Friday. Bishnoi first got the wicket of Ben Duckett for 39 and then got the scalp of skipper Jos Buttler for two runs. His final wicket of the game was that of Jofra Archer for a duck to help India win the game.

1- Varun Chakravarthy

England have found it tough to play Varun Chakravarthy who has 12 wickets from four games. His fifer in Rajkot went to waste but the 33-year-old was back at his best and bowled an economical second spell to end with figures of 2/28 from four overs. His wickets in Pune included the dangerous Harry Brook for 51 and Brydon Carse for a duck.
