It looked like the players were in a mood to thrash the Indian bowling attack. For India, Jadeja came to the rescue, secured three wickets, and gave away 46 runs.

Kuldeep Yadav supported him from the other end as he took two wickets. The game did start well as India got a few early wickets. However, once Shazad settled, he didn’t let anyone else’s score affect him and kept on hitting the bowlers on loose balls. 

On the contrary, India’s batting started really well as the openers KL Rahul (60) and Ambati Rayadu (57) made a partnership of 110 runs. However, once Rayadu’s wicket fell, the batting order shattered like a pack of cards. Then came Dinesh Karthik, who played extremely well and scored 44 runs off 66 balls. 

Apart from him, none of the other batters stood up and played perfectly. Jadeja couldn’t score one run off two balls, so the game ended in a tie. It could have been an easy win, but Afghanistan’s bowling was extremely good. Aftab Alam, Mohammad Nabi, and Rashid Khan took two wickets each and finished the Indian batting attack.
