The United States (USA) have made a flying start to their 2024 T20 World Cup campaign by winning their two matches so far. The tournament co-hosts registered a remarkable seven-wicket win against Canada and went on to script history with an epic victory against former champions Pakistan in the Super Over.
Their next assignment is against inaugural champions India at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York. Monank Patel and Co. are coming after creating one of the biggest upsets in the history of the game and India will not take them lightly on a tricky surface.

3. Aaron Jones
Aaron Jones has been one of the best batters for the USA so far in the tournament. Batting at No. 4, Jones has played crucial knocks in both matches. He scored a match-winning 94* off 40 balls, including four fours and 10 sixes in the tournament opener against Canada. The right-hander also contributed an unbeaten 36 off 26 balls in the historic victory against Pakistan. His form will be crucial against a high-quality side like India.
2. Nosthush Kenjige
Nosthush Kenjge missed the first match against Canada but cemented his spot in the Playing XI for the rest of the tournament with a brilliant spell against Pakistan. The left-arm fast bowler picked up three wickets, including the dangerous Shadab Khan, at an economy of 7.50. He is expected to shine in the bowling-friendly conditions at Nassau County International Cricket Stadium. Not to forget, the Indian top-order has a slight weakness against the left-arm pacers.

Saurabh Netravalkar was USA’s hero in the epic win against Pakistan. The left-arm pacer shone in the first innings with two wickets at an economy rate of 4.50 and bowled a brilliant Super Over. He defended the target of 19 runs, including a wicket and gave his side a famous victory. With the New York pitch set to offer huge assistance for the pace bowlers, Netravalkar is expected to have another fruitful outing in the marquee event.
