Karun Nair Is set to return to international cricket after 7 long years thanks to his long grind in domestic cricket the 33 year old is just the second Indian to score a triple century in the longest format of the game. This was followed by his knocks of 40 and 15 in the second game of the tournament which concluded on Monday. On current form no one can be as lethal as Karun Nair in the upcoming fTive match series against England. The veteran batter also has good experience of playing in England having represented Northamptonshire and also scoring a double century.

2- Much needed experience 

With Roy Sharma and Virat Kohli having retired from the test format, the experience of Karun Nair will be key for the Indian cricket team against a very strong England side led by Ben Stokes. The 33 year old batter is very good player against the pace and seam bowling as well as a very competent batter against spin. Having lost two senior batters and just KL Rahul in the batting lineup for India, the visiting side led by Shubman Gill will be looking at Karun Nair to lend his overall experience of not just his form in the Red Ball format but also in the English conditions.
