This was a disastrous campaign for Bangladesh in this World Cup but there were a few bright prospects that can turn out to be a huge positive for them in the future. Shakib Al Hasan’s form was a cause of concern but in the last few matches, he has shown that he is still the best in the business when it comes to contributing with both bat and ball. He played a crucial knock against Sri Lanka to make sure that their Champions Trophy hopes stayed alive. As a leader, he would be very significant as he can lead Bangladesh through this transition phase.
