Zimbabwe challenged India in the T20 World Cup

Zimbabwe has qualified for the T20 World Cup to be held in Australia after qualifying a few days ago. Then they won the ODI and T20I series against Bangladesh at home. The Zimbabwean team, who are at the peak of confidence and form, this time also challenged India to beat them.

Only time will tell whether Zimbabwe will be able to show the courage to defeat India, the mighty team of world cricket. But before that, Zimbabwe’s head coach David Houghton threatened KL Rahul. He even advised not to take his team lightly.

“Don’t take us lightly,” Houghton said about the series against India, having 100% confidence in the strength of his students. “We can beat India. Today’s bowling and fielding are as good as it was in our time. Also, we have some batsmen who are batting really well.”

Houghton also said, ”I told the boys, the tour of India is a great opportunity for us. If we can play well against the best team, we will be benefited. We don’t just want to increase the number of matches or go to the ground to watch India play. Ready to challenge India. I believe the boys will give India a tough challenge.”

The Zimbabwean coach praising India, ”I have seen many games of the Indian team in the last few years. Also watched the Indian Premier League (IPL). They can form four teams if they want. Whichever team they send to Zimbabwe is experienced and strong. They play many matches. There is no doubt that it won’t be easy.”
