Yesterday, Trent Rockets and Oval Invincibles faced each other in the 17th match of The Hundred 2022. Where Trent Rockets batted first and made a big target to chase. But the Oval Invincibles had to leave the field with a loss due to running out of balls in pursuit of that goal. Also, Trent Rockets is in 2nd place in the points table, and Oval Invincibles is in the 4th place in the points table. On the other hand, Alex Hales won the man of the match award with good batting. 

Oval Invincibles won the toss, elected to bowl first, and sent off the Trent Rockets to bat. Batting first, Dawid Malan and Alex Hales played very well. With both of them, Trent Rockets set a target of 181 runs.

First, Alex Hales played great innings of 59 runs off 29 balls. His innings of 59 runs were studded with 6 fours and 4 sixes. He left the field after being caught out in the 46th ball. After that, Malan returned to the dressing room after playing beautiful innings of 38 runs. Playing 29 balls, he hit 2 fours and 2 sixes and left the field after being caught out. In response, Oval Invincibles stopped at 156 for losing 5 wickets. Will Jacks left the field after being bowled out first. He scored 11 runs in 9 balls with the help of 2 fours. After some time, Jason Roy returned to the dressing room. He scored 20 runs off 17 balls. He also hit 2 fours and 1 six. Captain Sam Billings left the field after being trapped by lbw on the 35th ball. He played 3 balls and could not score a single run.

Sam Curran scored 27 runs off 19 balls. He was caught out and left the field. He also hit 3 fours. Sunil Narine was caught out at the end and played an innings of 23 runs off 19 balls. His innings of 23 runs had 2 fours and 1 six.

Jordan Cox was their top scorer with an unbeaten 61 off 33 balls. His innings of 61 runs were studded with 4 fours and 3 sixes. The brilliant innings reduced the target runs. In the end, they stopped at 156 runs with 13 extra runs, as a result of their innings, they left the field with a sad heart.

Tabraiz Shamsi took 2 wickets for 21 runs off 20 balls for Trent Rockets. Besides, Luke Wood, Sam Cook, and Samit Patel got 1 wicket each.
