Netherlands has announced the squad for the T20 World Cup to be held in Australia. The Dutch 15-man squad is a combination of experienced and youth. Six players who were not in the squad for the last series against New Zealand have also returned to the World Cup squad.
In addition, the selectors of the Netherlands Cricket Board have also relied on Roelof von der Merwe, who has been out of the team for a long time. The left-handed off-spinning all-rounder last played in the country’s jersey in late 2021.

“We’ve got a combination of youth and experience for the World Cup, hopefully they’ll do well,” head coach Ryan Cook said while announcing the squad.
In the last World Cup, the Netherlands was eliminated from the first round. The team has to play in the first round again. They have to pass this way to go to the Super Twelve. In this group, their partners are Namibia, Sri Lanka, and the United Arab Emirates. The Dutch will play the first match against the Emirates on October 16.
