The cricketers send Eid greetings after celebrating Eid in West Indies

Bangladesh cricketers celebrated Eid in the West Indies, thousands of miles away from the country. The Tigers, who have been on a month-long tour to play the full series, have gathered for a photo shoot after performing Eid prayers. They shared the picture on social media and wished Eid to the people.

Cricketers perform Eid prayers at the Queenstown Jame Mosque in Guyana on Saturday (July 9th). After that, Eid is celebrated at Team Hotel. In a video message sent from there, Mahmudullah Riyadh, the captain of the T20 team, wished everyone a happy Eid. The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) shared the video on social media.

In a congratulatory message, Riyadh said, “Eid wishes to all. Hope everybody with their family members will celebrate this day. Share the joy of Eid with everyone.” Besides, young pacer Shariful Islam said in a video message, ”Happy Eid to all. Celebrate Eid with your family in good health, which is what we want. ”

Meanwhile, Mustafizur Rahman has celebrated two Eids outside the country this year. He also celebrated Eid-ul-Fitr in India as he played in the Indian Premier League (IPL). The star pacer, celebrating Eid in the West Indies this time, said, ‘Eid Mubarak. Let’s celebrate Eid with your families. ‘

Besides, spinning all-rounder Mehdi Hasan Miraz posted a picture of Eid on his official Facebook page and wrote, ‘Eid Mubarak. Bangladesh will play the first match of the three-match ODI series against the West Indies on Eid night. The match will start at 7:30 pm Bangladesh time at Providence Stadium in Guyana.
