Stuart Law will also give the initiation the cricketers on how to handle the social media

Stuart Law’s relationship with Bangladesh cricket is very old. This is the third time he has come to work in Bangladesh. Before this, Stuart served as the head coach of the Bangladesh cricket team in 2011-12. Under him, Bangladesh played in the final of the Asia Cup for the first time. Later, in 2016, he served as the technical advisor of the U-19 team, and now Stuart has come to Bangladesh as the head coach of the U-19 team.

Stuart is very excited to shoulder the responsibility of the Tigers for the third time. After taking charge, he faced the media at Mirpur Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium. He said this time, and he has come to make good cricketers as well as good people. Stuart said, ”It feels good to be back in Bangladesh. Came here today and saw some familiar, friendly faces. There are many good memories here. So, it feels good to be back.”

Stuart also said, ”I have served as a head coach many times in different parts of the world. Being a head coach of an international team does not have many coaching opportunities, and it is a lot of talking and administrative work. But this assignment will allow me to work with emerging cricketers where I can make a difference, and I can help not only in my cricketing ability but also in building a young personality. So, when the opportunity came, it was very easy for me to say yes.”

Stuart also wants to teach youngsters about social media outside of cricket. He wants to teach his disciples in this matter by bringing a good mind coach if necessary. He said, ”Young cricketers these days have to do a lot off the field, which was not possible in our time. I’m talking about social media. We will try to teach the boys about this. Whether by bringing a mind coach. They have to understand the good and bad sides of social media. Social media creates a lot of external pressure for cricketers of this age.”

40 people have been selected ahead of the 2024 World Cup. Their fitness training will start on Sunday. After the fitness camp, the skill camp will start from July 23 at BKSP. There will be about three weeks of net practice and practice matches with members of the first squad. After that, the main squad of the U-19 team will be selected.
