Shoaib Akhtar’s biopic is being produced 

Shoaib Akhtar was once a terror to batsmen. This former Pakistani pacer used to throw bullet, not ball at 22 yards. A biopic is being made on this one of the best action stars of all time. This is the first time that any other country is showing the life of a Pakistani athlete on the big screen. Shoaib himself informed the fans about the biopic production.

Sharing a video clip and poster on Twitter, Shoaib wrote, “A beautiful journey is about to begin. Announcing my story, my life, my biopic, ‘Rawalpindi Express – Running Against All Odds’. Never experienced anything like this before. First foreign film about a Pakistani Sportsman. Controversially yours, Shoaib Akhtar.”

Shoaib’s biography will reveal many unknown stories. Indian media reported that there may even be controversial chapters. All expenses of this film are borne by Q Production Films. It will be directed by Mohammad Faraz Qaizer. If all goes well, ‘Rawalpindi Express – Running Against All Odds’ could release in November 2023.

However, nothing is known about who will be seen in the role of Shoaib in the biopic. The 25-second motion teaser does not feature the lead actor. In response to Shoaib’s tweet, a fan wrote, ”Awaiting for this biopic with interest.” From his fans to critics, everyone is waiting for the biopic of this cricketer star.

It is to be noted that in 1997, Shoaib, the famous pacer of ‘Rawalpindi Express’, entered the international arena in Pakistan’s jersey with a Test match against the West Indies. He also holds the record for fastest bowl in international cricket so far. This legendary pacer of Pakistan bowled at a speed of 161.3 km per hour against England in 2003 World Cup. Let’s see if his biopic responds like his colorful career.
