Rishabh Panth is now in a hospital bed due to a terrible road accident. It may take six months or more to return to full fitness. In this case, this Indian wicket-keeper batsman will not be able to play in the upcoming IPL. But Panth will get the full amount of the contract even if he can’t play. Indian media reported that he will also be paid the full amount of BCCI’s annual contract.

Panth was seriously injured in a road accident a few days ago. He also underwent knee surgery. However, the surgery is said to have been successful. Hope he recovers quickly. However, there is no guarantee when he will be able to return to the field after being fit. According to hospital sources, he will have to stay out of the field for at least six months. In that case, he cannot play in IPL.

However, Panth will get the full amount of the contract even if he cannot play in the IPL. According to Board of India rules, if a cricketer cannot play in the IPL due to injury, he will still receive the full amount of the contract. Accordingly, Panth’s contract in IPL is Tk 16 crore. And he is getting all of it.

Apart from the IPL, Panth gets Rs 5 crore annually for the central contract of the Indian Cricket Board. BCCI will pay the full amount of this contract. On the other hand, Panth’s fans are happy with the humanity of the board towards the Indian cricketer. Panth’s treatment rests with the Indian Board. According to board sources, if he is not fully fit before the World Cup, Panth may be dropped from the upcoming ODI World Cup this year.

Pant was supposed to be the captain of Delhi Capitals in the IPL. Delhi Capitals signed him for Rs 16 crore. This explosive batsman of Team India has led Delhi before. However, Australian batsman David Warner will captain Delhi in Pant’s absence.
