Nabi becomes number one surpassing Shakib

Shakib Al Hasan was at the top of all rounder rankings in international T20. However, the Bangladesh captain did not play against the United Arab Emirates in the recent series. In that gap, Shakib is surpassed by Mohammad Nabi. The Afghanistan captain took the top spot in the all-rounder ranking.

Nabi scored 246 rating points on his way to top Shakib. On the other hand, Shakib’s current position is number two with 243 rating points. However, despite not playing for the national team, Shakib is spending good time with the bat and ball for the Guyana Amazon Warriors in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL).

However, despite the dispute over superiority between Shakib and Nabi, the remaining three places among the top five all-rounders remain unchanged. As usual, England’s spinning all-rounder Moeen Ali is in third place. Besides Sri Lanka’s Wanindu Hasaranga at number four and India’s Hardik Pandya at number five.

Meanwhile, there has been a change in the ranking of batsmen in the latest update of ICC. India’s Suryakumar Yadav has climbed to number two ahead of Pakistan captain Babar Azam and South Africa’s Aiden Markram. Suryakumar has been in incredible rhythm with the bat recently and has a rating of 801 points. As usual, Pakistani opener Mohammad Rizwan has retained the top spot.
