IND vs AUS, 2nd ODI: Best memes from the game

Australia made a terrific comeback to beat India by 10 wickets in the second ODI in Visakhapatnam on March 19 to level the three-match ODI series 1-1. The visitors registered their victory with the help of Mitchell Starc’s five-wicket haul and the top knocks from openers Mitchell Marsh and Travis Head.

The Rohit Sharma-led side was invited to bat first and they were bundled out for 117 in just 26 overs, with Starc taking five wickets, Sean Abbott taking three and Nathan Ellis two wickets for Australia. For India, Virat Kohli top-scored with 31 runs while Axar Patel remained unbeaten for 29 off 29 balls.

Starc struck in the opening over to remove Shubman Gill for a two-ball duck. He then removed skipper Rohit Sharma and Suryakumar Yadav in the fifth over. In the ninth over, he dismissed keeper-batter KL Rahul and ended the Indian innings after removing Mohammed Siraj to pick his ninth five-wicket haul in the 50-over format.

Chasing a target of 118, Australia cruised to 121 in just 11 overs withoust losing a wicket. Mitchell Marsh hammered an unbeaten 66 runs off 36 studded with six boundaries and six maximums while his opening partner Travis Head smashed an unbeaten 51 off 30, including 10 boundaries.

With this win, the Steve Smith-led side has levelled the three-match series against India 1-1. The third and final ODI will commence at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on March 22.
