After Bangladesh’s fabulous run against England, where they beat the World Champions 3-0 in the T20I series, they will next be going up against Ireland for a three-match ODI series, which is scheduled to begin on Saturday, March 18.

Ireland’s last international match was against Zimbabwe, where they took on the Chevrons for a three-match ODI series in January 2023. After losing the first game of that series, Ireland made a resilient comeback to clinch the second game. The third and final match of the series bore no result, and the series ended in a 1-1 tie.

Bangladesh would be soaring high with confidence, as they recently beat England in the T20I series. The Tamim Iqbal-led side will look to grab another win as the series kicks off soon. The first match of the ODI series will be played at the Sylhet Cricket Stadium.

The ODI series will be followed by a three-match T20I series, which is scheduled to begin on Monday, March 27. Post the T20I series, both sides will take each other on for a one-off Test match starting from April 4. Bangladesh will look to clinch a victory in every game and continue their winning run.
