How much has India changed after Losing to Pakistan? Rohit Sharma reveals

How much has India changed after Losing to Pakistan

Since the ODI World Cup in 1975 and the T20 World Cup in 2007, Pakistan has not defeated India until the 2021 World Cup. Babar Azam’s team did that impossible task in the 2021 T20 World Cup, and Pakistan beat India by 10 wickets.

After losing against New Zealand, hot favourite India had to leave before the semi-finals. However, after losing that match against Pakistan, there were several changes in the Indian cricket team. Changes come to the coaching staff and captains.

This year’s Asia Cup starts on August 27. Rohit Sharma is leading the Indian team this time. After the last Twenty20 World Cup, India-Pakistan is facing again on August 28. The Indian captain spoke to the media about the upcoming India-Pakistan match.

Rohit said, “After a long time, the Asia Cup will be held. But last year in the World Cup in Dubai, we played against Pakistan, of course, the result did not go in our favour. But the Asia Cup is different. The team is playing differently now, preparing differently. A lot has changed in the Indian team since then. “

Rohit also said about UAE cricket, “It will be important for us to understand the conditions. We must remember that we will be playing at 40 degrees Celsius, and we must prepare ourselves, keeping this in mind.”

Rohit talked about the Indian team in Australia’s upcoming Asia Cup and T20 World Cup.

“Keeping in mind the conditions, there may be three or four changes in the team. For now, we are thinking about the Asia Cup, and we are not thinking about the World Cup in Australia.”
