Former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi has been fined for reckless driving on the highway. Although he became the news headlines more than once due to cricket, the former all-rounder has become headlines for a different reason after saying goodbye to cricket.

According to the Pakistani media, Afridi was going to Karachi from Lahore on a motorcycle. He was fined by the highway police for speeding on the highway. Afridi was fined Rs 1,500. The former all-rounder thanked the highway police for paying the fine. He also did not hesitate to take pictures with the on-duty policemen.

Praising the work of the highway police, Afridi said, “Everyone is equal in the eyes of the law.” Afridi later wrote in a tweet on social media, “It’s nice to meet the polite staff. I thought they were very professional.”
