In the 50th match of BBL 2021/22, the Sydney Sixers have got a huge victory of 60 runs against the Sydney Thunder in the whirling magic of Steve O’Keefe at the SCG in Sydney. After losing the toss and batting first, the Sixers lost 5 wickets in 20 overs and collected a big score of 197 runs.

Daniel Hughes hit 66 off 48 balls with 7 fours and 2 sixes for the Sixers. Josh Philippe also played a stormy innings of 57 off 35 balls and Moises Henriques made an unbeaten 47 runs playing 27 balls. Nathan McAndrew and Daniel Sams took two wickets each for Thunder.

Chasing the huge target of 198 runs, the Thunder lost 9 wickets in the allotted 20 overs in the bowling cannon of the Sixers bowlers. Captain Chris Green top-scored with 50 off 31 balls for the team.
