Amazing achievement of Indian spinners: for the first time spinners bagged all 10 wickets!

India won the five-match series 3-1 at the end of the fourth match. Only the last match of formalities was left. West Indies could not do anything there either. India, who scored 188 runs for 7 wickets in Florida earlier on Sunday, stopped the West Indies by 100 runs. The Indian team ended the series 4-1 with a great victory of 88 runs.

India’s leg spinner Ravi Bishnoi took 4 wickets for just 16 runs in 2.4 overs. Two left arm spinners Akshar Patel and Kuldeep Yadav bagged 3 wickets each. The spinners have taken all 10 wickets in the first innings in the boys’ international T20.

However, the women of Thailand have already achieved this feat in the women’s international T20. The Thai spinners took all 10 wickets in the 2019 Asian World Cup Qualifiers in which Malaysia were bowled out for 27 runs.

To chase runs, none other than Shimron Hetmyer could stand for West Indies, who were disorientated by the whirlwind of Indian spinners. Hetmyer scored 56 runs off 35 balls with 5 fours and 4 sixes. But no one else could score even 15 runs. Only Shamar Brooks (13) and Devon Thomas (10) reached double figures. Is it possible to win this match?

Earlier, Shreyas Iyer, Deepak Hooda and Hardik Pandya took India close to two hundred runs. Opener Iyer scored 64 runs off 40 balls with 8 fours and 2 sixes. Huda made 38 off 25 balls at third position. Captain Hardik Pandya created storm towards the end and added another 28 runs off 16 balls.

Akshar Patel who fell the West Indies in danger with the first 3 wickets was Man of the Match. Akashdeep Singh took 7 wickets at an average of 6.58 runs per over in 5 matches and became the man of the series.
