Cricket Free Tips | IPL 2020, Match 36: Mumbai Indians vs Kings XI Punjab

For the second time in this competition, Mumbai will find itself pitted against Punjab in the Indian T20 League this season. Mumbai had the upper hand in their previous match, beating the Punjab team by a sizable margin of 48 runs. So, in this match, this would offer a psychological advantage to the four-time champions over their opponents.

Punjab is pegged and in their bag with just 4 points at the bottom of the points table. On the other hand, at the top of the points table, Mumbai is climbing fast, having won 6 out of 8 matches they have played. This makes it interesting to see if in this match Punjab will be able to go past Mumbai’s might.

On another hot and dry evening in Dubai; the wind should ease by evening.

The pitch on this ground will be helpful to the batsmen, but the conditions will get worse and worse as the match progresses. During this part of the game, the bowlers can enjoy bowling later and limit the flow of runs.

Playing XIs:

Mumbai Indians:

Quinton de Kock (wk), Rohit Sharma (c), James Pattinson, Ishan Kishan, Hardik Pandya, Kieron Pollard, Jasprit Bumrah, Suryakumar Yadav, Rahul Chahar, Trent Boult, Krunal Pandya

Kings XI Punjab:

KL Rahul (c&wk), Mayank Agarwal, Chris Gayle, Nicholas Pooran, Glenn Maxwell, Arshdeep Singh, Chris Jordan, Murugan Ashwin, Mohammed Shami, Ravi Bishnoi, Deepak Hooda

Mumbai Indians vs Kings XI Punjab Dream 11:

Quinton de Kock (c&wk), KL Rahul (wk), Rohit Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav, Mayank Agarwal, Deepak Hooda, Glenn Maxwell, Nathan Coulter-Nile, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Shami, Arshdeep Singh

Mumbai Indians are expected to take 2 points in this game with their excellent form, and it is difficult to look beyond them for this match.

Cricket Free Tips | IPL 2020, Match 35: Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Kolkata Knight Riders

In the Indian Premier League’s 35th match, Sunrisers Hyderabad will take on Kolkata Knight Riders. This season, Sunrisers Hyderabad have been on the receiving end on most occasions. They have not justified the skills they possess, to be honest. Individually, all the players performed decently, but they were very disappointed as a squad. Every other player, apart from Rashid Khan, has lacked consistency and that has been the primary cause of their downfall. Hyderabad has also shown that, under strain, they are likely to collapse. They haven’t won a single hunting game this season.

KKR, on the other hand, did well to take 4 out of 7 games, but they have not yet reached their height. There are so many loopholes that teams could look to exploit if you look at KKR. For them, a significant cause of concern has been batting. Also, without Sunil Narine, bowling doesn’t look that good. They’re on par with the best players skill-wise, but their success throughout the tournament has been hot and cold. If KKR beats SRH, they need to be on their toes.

During match time, the playing conditions will continue to be warm at 34 degrees Celsius. The chances of rain are zero.

It is a flat track that is on offer at Abu Dhabi. Both the batsmen and the bowlers will enjoy playing on this pitch if they apply themselves well. With the extended boundaries that are on offer, many twos and threes will be on offer.

Playing XIs:

Sunrisers Hyderabad:

David Warner (c), Jonny Bairstow (wk), Manish Pandey, Kane Williamson, Priyam Garg, Vijay Shankar, T Natarajan, Rashid Khan, Sandeep Sharma, Khaleel Ahmed, Shahbaz Nadeem

Kolkata Knight Riders:

Eoin Morgan (c), Dinesh Karthik (wk), Rahul Tripathi, Shubman Gill, Nitish Rana/Rinku Singh, Andre Russell, Varun Chakravarthy, Pat Cummins, Shivam Mavi, Prasidh Krishna, Chris Green

Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Kolkata Knight Riders Dream 11:

Shubman Gill (c), Jonny Bairstow (wk), David Warner, Priyam Garg, Andre Russell, Sandeep Sharma, T Natarajan, Rashid Khan, Pat Cummins, Shivam Mavi

Both teams are matched equally, and choosing a winner between them is difficult. It seems at the moment that Sunrisers Hyderabad could just pick up those two crucial points against Kolkata Knight Riders. Let’s support your favourite IPL team at Bajnow!

3 players you can exclude from your IPL 2020 Dream11 team for Rajasthan Royals (RR) vs Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB)

Sanju Samson (9.5 credits)

There is hardly any doubt about Sanju Samson’s potential and talent. He has been a frequent feature of the IPL and has many match-winning knocks to his credit, but he has always been interested in inconsistency. This year, Samson made a brilliant start by slapping consecutive half-centuries and winning two Man of the Match awards in succession. Ever since, though, his run has been dismal. Samson has found the going rough with ratings of 8, 4, 0, 5, 26 in the last 5 meetings.

Rahul Tewatia (9 credits)

This season, Rahul Tewatia has been solely sensational. This version, he has scored more runs than any other batsman scored at or below the number 5 spot. That refers to how the top-order of the Royals of Rajasthan did not burn. More than that, to complete an all-round success, Tewatia also scalped 5 wickets. Despite this, as far as your Dream11 team is concerned, the existence of better choices in this game is a good enough excuse not to go ahead with Tewatia.

Aaron Finch (9 credits)

Aaron Finch is not able to justify the title this year, despite having a reputation for big-hitting. He was striking much lower than his norm and was under minor strain because of the same thing. Though he got a couple of decent late results, his overall season tally was underwhelming. Finch scored 191 runs at 23.87 in eight innings this year and scored 113.69.

3 players you can exclude from your IPL 2020 Dream11 team for Delhi Capitals (DC) vs Chennai Super Kings (CSK)

Prithvi Shaw (9 credits)
In the powerplay, Prithvi Shaw was successful in getting off to fliers. But Prithvi Shaw wasn’t able to turn his start into a big knock when the fielders started positioning them out of the inner circle. He was not able to replicate the same thing after the powerplay compared to his initial start. You should leave out Prithvi Shaw from your Dream11 team with the options you get from Delhi Capitals alone.

Piyush Chawla (8.5 credits)

Apart from his performance in the initial part of the competition, Piyush Chawla was not a go-to option for his captain, whenever he needed a breakthrough or to squeeze the flow of runs. He could chip in with only six wickets in as many outings. For both sides, you can look for other choices and exclude Piyush Chawla from your team.

Ajinkya Rahane (8.5 credits)

Ajinkya Rahane couldn’t provide Delhi Capitals the performance they were expecting him to produce. After Rishabh Pant was injured, he got an opportunity, but he could not make the most of it. Ajinkya Rahane was only able to manage 17 runs in two games he played. He was exceptional in the field, though, and he can be expected to sit out with all the batters in the top order performing well for Delhi Capitals with the return of Rishabh Pant around the corner. Ajinkya Rahane will therefore be the third player to be excluded from your Dream11 team.

3 players you must include in your IPL 2020 Dream11 team for Rajasthan Royals (RR) vs Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB)

Virat Kohli (10.5 credits)

As a champion player, the selection of Virat Kohli calls for no argument. In the history of the league, the leading run-scorer now holds the record for having the most runs as a captain. While this time, Kohli made an ominous start to the tournament, he bounced back well and did not look back, more in his style. Kohli, a fierce runner between the wickets, is seated at Orange Cap 4th place contenders with 304 runs at 60.80 this season and a few half-centuries this season.

AB de Villiers (10 credits)

In any squad, AB de Villiers is another incredible player in any style, and a no-doubt pick whether it’s the actual team or Dream11! He is a force in himself with his magical abilities with the bat, fast running between the wickets, gun fielding, and brilliant glove-work. Given his form in a recent game and an exceptional record against the Royals of Rajasthan, he will be your right choice.

Jofra Archer (9.5 credits)

Jofra Archer performed the ball talk. Some fierce pace, coupled with deadly precision makes him a menacing bowler who can interrupt the best in the business. Aside from his bowling prowess, Archer still can whack some lusty blows with the order batting down the bat. This season, he has a strike of 202.27 and has played a couple of brilliant cameos. This year, Archer is second in the list of leading wicket-takers to only Kagiso Rabada. He has scalped 12 wickets at an average of 17.50 and an economy of 6.56.

3 players you must include in your IPL 2020 Dream11 team for Delhi Capitals (DC) vs Chennai Super Kings (CSK)

Faf du Plessis (10 credits)
The veteran South African, Faf du Plessis, was the core of the batting of Chennai Super Kings. While they ultimately went in vain because he couldn’t see his side through, he notched a few decent scores. He will be up against Delhi Capitals’s formidable bowling line up consisting of his national teammates. Considering his current form, he can be your captain or vice-captain in your Dream11 team.

Kagiso Rabada (9.5 credits)

Kagiso Rabada, well, he needs no introduction at all. So far in this season IPL, he hasn’t created any dry spells and whenever his captain hands him over the white ball, he is able to deliver. He has 18 wickets from eight outings under his belt and is currently donsing the purple cap of the tournament. In your Dream11 team, he is a must pick, while you’ll just have to decide to make him captain or vice-captain.

Sam Curran (9 credits)

In most of the circumstances for Chennai Super Kings, Sam Curran, the young lad from England, has been a saviour. He was brilliant with the ball in the powerplay, initially making the ball talk a bit. He did not disappoint his captain with the new position given to him as an opener, grabbing the opportunity with both hands and giving the team a fast start against Sunrisers Hyderabad. And is expected that he will again accompany Faf du Plessis as his opening partner. In your Dream11 team, you should certainly include him.

Cricket Free Tips | IPL 2020, Match 34: Delhi Capitals vs Chennai Super Kings

The 34th match of IPL 2020 will be held at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium, played between Delhi Capitals and Chennai Super Kings. The match will be kicked off on 17th October (Sunday) at 20:00 (GMT+6).

A team of veterans will be pitted against each other in the second game of the day on Saturday, against a team led by a young captain. So far, Delhi Capitals who led by Shreyas Iyer have had a great run in this tournament, and are positioned at the top of the points table with six wins out of eight games they have played. And, on the other hand, MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings, after managing to win only three out of the eight games they have played, are pegged at the third last position in the points table.

Delhi Capitals got the better of Chennai Super Kings in their last outing against each other, winning the game by a respectable 44 runs. But Chennai Super Kings made some changes after that, which also helped them much. So, in this game, they’d be looking to bounce back and make things even in terms of the head-to-head equation with Delhi Capitals.

Because of the clear sky, the game on Saturday is expected to go on without any interruptions and there is no chance of rainfall too. The temperature will stay around 29 to 35 degrees Celsius.

For the bowlers to bowl on the pitch at Sharjah Cricket Stadium has become even more of a nightmare. There was a time at the start of the tournament when the runs were flowing in the 1st inning, but that could be controlled in the 2nd inning by the bowlers. And, now, as chasing becomes progressively simpler, even that the factor is slightly decreasing.

Average first innings score: 197 (Last 5 Indian T20 League games at this venue)
Chasing Teams Record: 1 Won, 4 Losts, 0 Tied (Last 5 Indian T20 League games at this venue)

Probable Playing XIs

Delhi Capitals:
Shikhar Dhawan, Prithvi Shaw,  Marcus Stoinis, Ajinkya Rahane/Shimron Hetmyer, Shreyas Iyer (c), Ravichandran Ashwin, Alex Carey/Rishabh Pant (wk), Axar Patel,  Tushar Deshpande, Kagiso Rabada, Anrich Nortje

Chennai Super Kings:
MS Dhoni (c & wk), Faf du Plessis, Ravindra Jadeja, Shane Watson, Ambati Rayudu,  Sam Curran, Piyush Chawla, Dwayne Bravo, Deepak Chahar,  Shardul Thakur, Karn Sharma

Delhi Capitals vs Chennai Super Kings Dream11:

Faf du Plessis (C), Marcus Stoinis (VC), MS Dhoni, Prithvi Shaw, Shane Watson, Shikhar Dhawan, Ravindra Jadeja, Sam Curran, Anrich Nortje, Kagiso Rabada, Shardul Thakur

When these sides last met, the Delhi Capitals performed excellently, but last time out, Chennai Super Kings got back to winning ways and they are also able to win in this match. Let’s back Chennai Super Kings at Baji now!

Cricket Free Tips | IPL 2020, Match 33: Rajasthan Royals vs Royal Challengers Bangalore

Rajasthan and Bangalore will be pitted against one another for the second time this season. The Virat Kohli-led Bangalore team got the best of Rajasthan the last time these two teams met, winning the match by a wide, 8-wicket margin. In the points table, both of these teams are put far apart, reflecting the way their campaign has so far turned out.

Out of the 8 games they played, Rajasthan managed to win just 3. Bangalore has done well, on the other hand, and are having one of their best T20 League rounds. Thanks to their 5 win in 8 matches, with 10 points in their bag they are put in the third position in the points table. So, it would be essential to see if Rajasthan could balance the strength of their Bangalore counterparts and settle the score from their previous face-off.

Saturday’s weather in Dubai will be clear. And a full-length match is very much on the cards, with no chance of rainfall and a temperature hovering around the 31 degrees Celsius level.

Scoring runs will not be an issue for the batsmen in the first innings of the match, just like any other ground in the United Arab Emirates where the Indian T20 League is being played. But the bowlers did not find it hard at all to contain the flood of runs in the second inning.

Playing XIs:

Rajasthan Royals:

Steven Smith (c), Jos Buttler (wk), Ben Stokes, Sanju Samson, Manan Vohra/Robin Uthappa, Riyan Parag, Rahul Tewatia, Kartik Tyagi, Shreyas Gopal, Jaydev Unadkat, Jofra Archer

Royal Challengers Bangalore:

Virat Kohli (c), AB de Villiers (wk), Devdutt Padikkal, Aaron Finch, Washington Sundar, Shivam Dube, Chris Morris, Yuzvendra Chahal, Navdeep Saini, Mohammed Siraj, Isuru Udana

Rajasthan Royals vs Royal Challengers Bangalore Dream 11:

Jos Buttler (c&wk), Sanju Samson (wk), Virat Kohli, Devdutt Padikkal, Steve Smith, Chris Morris, Washington Sundar, Ben Stokes, Isuru Udana, Yuzvendra Chahal, Shreyas Gopal

Royal Challengers Bangalore is a more balanced side out of the two teams and is favourites to win this fight, but only if they don’t keep Ab de Villers for too long on the bench. Let’s back Royal Challengers Bangalore to beat Rajasthan Royals at Baji now!

3 players you must include in your IPL 2020 Dream11 team for Mumbai Indians vs Kolkata Knight Riders

Shubman Gill (9.5 credits)

One of the positive prospects for KKR this season has been Shubman Gill. He scored 2 fifties with a top score of 70 * and gave KKR strong powerplay starts. In a few cases, he has also anchored the innings and Gill may be the best candidate for the C or VC of your Fantasy squad.

Suryakumar Yadav (9 credits)

Following a few hiccups initially, Suryakumar Yadav was in top form and has scored 233 runs at an average of 38.83 in 7 outings and is hitting 155.33. In their previous match, he scored an unbeaten half-century against the Delhi Capitals’ powerful bowling line-up and is expected to continue his excellent form.

Quinton de Kock (9 credits)

Quinton de Kock didn’t have a good start this season, but he certainly picked up his game to help his class. Against Delhi capitals, he scored a vital fifty and ensured that he provided enough basis for his team to get over the line eventually. The skills he showcases behind the stumps are undoubtedly his plus point and can be a mixture of wicket-keeping captain in your Dream11 Fantasy squad.

3 players you can exclude from your IPL 2020 Dream11 team for Mumbai Indians vs Kolkata Knight Riders

Hardik Pandya (9 credits)

So far this season, Hardik Pandya has not met expectations. In 7 outings with the bat, he could score only 135 runs, although he is still to bowl due to fitness concerns. With the bowlers that MI owns, Rohit Sharma certainly wouldn’t imagine him having a go with the ball. Hardik has opportunities with the bat only when collapse has occurred. Considering all the firepower from both teams combined, instead of Hardik, you should take a look at the other options from both teams.

Nitish Rana (9 credits)

This season, Nitish Rana has not been up to the mark. In 7 matches, he could only handle 150 runs and had a few forgettable outings as well. He has struggled both against spinners and seamers and has not been able to repeat his previous performances from previous seasons. With bad back to back results, you can avoid picking Nitish Rana.

James Pattinson (8.5 credits)

After being considered to fill in the big boots of Lasith Malinga, James Pattinson has had a good IPL this season. In 7 matches, he has picked up 9 wickets and has done well so far. On a few occasions, he has been economical, but often the opposing teams have attacked him. It would help if you leave him out of your dream 11 team, given these variables.
